Chances Project - Liza’s story
When Liza started working with the Chances project, she hadn’t had a job in nine months – but that was about to change. After Covid, everything was different: her employer had to let her go, and she’d lost confidence that she’d be able to work again. Her housing situation was precarious, too. She wasn’t sure she’d be able to afford her rent, and wanted to move to a more affordable flat. Liza wanted to work, and was motivated to find a job – but she needed confidence, and support, to help her take the next step
