A year of making a difference with the Patrons’ Club
Over £7.5 million of debt written off. More than £5.3 million in extra income secured for local people. These are just some of the achievements celebrated as the Norfolk Citizens Advice Patrons’ Club marked its first anniversary with a fantastic reception at Barningham Hall.
The Patrons’ Club brings together Norfolk’s leaders, influencers and champions who want to make a meaningful difference by supporting the work of Norfolk Citizens Advice.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk and President of the Patrons’ Club, The Lady Dannatt MBE, spoke about the vital support the club has given to such an important local charity, at a time when the cost-of-living crisis has driven demand for its services higher than ever.
Norfolk Citizens Advice CEO, Mark Hitchcock, highlighted the difference the club’s generosity has helped make. Over the past year, the charity has helped more than 12,500 people across Norfolk with over 55,000 issues, securing more than £5.3 million in additional income through benefits and support, and writing off over £7.5 million of debt.
The evening was kindly hosted by the owners of Barningham Hall and fully sponsored by Delta Fire Ltd, My Future Choice and Corney and Barrow Ltd. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to making it such a memorable occasion.
